The village of Laggan is six miles to the east. To the west is Fort William
with Ben Nevis range for skiing, and to the east the Spey Va lley with Aviemore
and the Cairngorms. Ardverikie is privately owned and enterprises include
forestry, sheep farming, Hydro electricity production and deer management.
Ardverikie offers four self-catering holiday houses sleeping between 3 and
12. The estate which is situated mostly on the southeast side of Loch Laggan,
set amid striking scenery with lochs, woods and mountains, blends to produce
some of the most spectacular landscape in Scotland. We offer three stalking
beats amidst some of the most spectacular scenery in Scotland varying between
rugged west coast mountains and the last vestiges of Caledonian Forest, the
traditional haunt of the red deer. Weeks range between £320 and £950
per week. |

| Our two
self-catering Scandinavian log cabins are situated on our croft ten miles
from Inverness. They have lovely views towards the mountains. The lodges
are substantially built and designed as permanent residential accommodation
and as luxury holiday houses. The construction is of solid interlocking logs
fitted out with high quality panelled doors, double glazed windows and solid
pine flooring. The open plan design of the ground floor is entered from a
large veranda at the front. The living room with its log burning stove leads
through to the dining area and fully equipped kitchen. There is also a twin
room and a bathroom downstairs. Upstairs is the master bedroom with its en-suite
bathroom and balcony, and another twin room. Prices are from £180 to
£520 per week and are inclusive of linen and towels, electricity, central
heating and logs for the stove. |

is situated in Moidart, 30 miles West of Fort William, in an area of considerable
natural beauty. It enjoys magnificent views of the Hebridean Islands to the
west and mountains all around. We are in an excellent position for those
who want to tour Lochaber and even further afield - whether it is a boat
trip to Skye and the Small Isles, a ride on the steam train or just a walk
in the hills. There is a wealth of history in Moidart, and with all the natural
flora and fauna you will run out of time to see and do it all. Our chalets,
are only one field away from the shore of lochailort. There is a small beach
and the loch is safe for bathing and boats. There is a double bedroom, a
twin bedded room and two chair beds provided for the living room if required.
The lounge-dining-kitchen area is open plan, and the fitted kitchen includes
electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge and washer-drier. We provide all
linen, towels and quilts. Hot water and central heating are included in the
cost. 5 Chalets, sleep 4-6, £200-£380 per week. |

The Keepers
Cottages are situated at Ardnamurchan Lighthouse the most Westerly point
of the British Isles. From this rugged, rocky, elevated position, visitors
have enjoyed stunning views to the Small Isles and Outer Hebrides with some
spectacular sunsets. This is a working lighthouse with a loud foghorn that
sounds when poor visibility can be a danger to shipping. These two properties
built by the Stevenson Family, out of pink granite quarried on Mull, forms
the south side of the inner courtyard that surrounds the tower. Keepers Cottage
West is unique in its location, its views, (Barra from the living room, the
Treshnish Isles from the kitchen) its decor, and furnishings. All on ground
floor: kitchen with dining area, living room with sofa bed which forms a
double bed, double bedroom with king size bed, bedroom with bunks for two,
and bathroom. Keepers Cottage East is similar to Keepers Cottage
West but has views of the small Isles and two twin bedrooms. Both properties
have: Total control heating and hot water, microwave, washer, cot, high chair,
T.V and video. Private water supply.
Sleeps 4 / 6 Linen. Service Available. Pets welcome. Saturday Arrival, £200
